I do have some audio cassettes that I want to convert to CDs. I found a very interesting product that might help (From the Daily GizWiz).

I love IT Conversations Open Source channel. It gives me the opportunity to listen to great presentations that I may not have heard before. I recently heard:
Timothy Cook
Open Source Working Group, AMIA
Open Source in Health Care
And the panel discussion about a start-up Open Source Healthcare company.

I love Jason Langridge's WebLog - MR Mobile!. He says
“Well it had to start.. after we delivered Powerpoint Mobile in Windows Mobile 5.0 many customers are now asking me for ... Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio and Infopath mobile versions...”
I would agree with Visio & Project for sure. I would really like graphic drawing program like Pocket Artist. My kids would love to draw with this!

Just How Many Windows Live Services Are There? This is an unbelievable list of services! I was a little disappointed at the lack of Mobile services:
· Windows Live Mobile
· Windows Live Mobile Mail
· Windows Live Mobile Search
What about mobile rss, links, etc….
I was really surprised to see speculation about a Live Healthcare service? I wonder how that relates to the Microsoft acquisition in Healthcare.

I am not sure what to think about Pocket PC & Smartphone devices in the medical field. Working in the healthcare industry I am a little surprised TabletPCs and Windows Mobile hasn’t caught on quicker. I know many physicians who use these little devices. But the products we have marketed in the mobile space just are not selling that well? I see 234 products on Handango that target Healthcare. I wonder how they are selling?

To top of the discussion of programming languages, I am thinking of using a new stack for the product I am working on. It is Open Source. It is fun to work with and it is as easy as Microsoft. It is LAMP. But not the LAMP you are thinking of:
The LAMP (Linux, Apache, Mono, PostgreSQL)

Yesterday I posted that O’Reilly says Java book sales are 10% down. At the same time, Microsoft just finished its Lang.Net 2006 conference about all the languages .Net supports. Then I ran across this site that contains Extreme Programming Motivational Posters. Very hilarious! Furthermore, I found a post on digg from OSCON about Java Programmers are the Erotic Furries of Programming. Then to top it all off, I read on Miguel’s blog a summary of Lang.Net 2006. He mentions that Second Life embedded Mono as a scripting engine in their product! Brilliant! And much quicker than the SQL server team did it. .Net was also used for MySpace! YouTube probably doesn’t use .Net, but 2 of the top 3 sites use it!
