Yesterday I posted that O’Reilly says Java book sales are 10% down. At the same time, Microsoft just finished its Lang.Net 2006 conference about all the languages .Net supports. Then I ran across this site that contains Extreme Programming Motivational Posters. Very hilarious! Furthermore, I found a post on digg from OSCON about Java Programmers are the Erotic Furries of Programming. Then to top it all off, I read on Miguel’s blog a summary of Lang.Net 2006. He mentions that Second Life embedded Mono as a scripting engine in their product! Brilliant! And much quicker than the SQL server team did it. .Net was also used for MySpace! YouTube probably doesn’t use .Net, but 2 of the top 3 sites use it!
