Telligent is going after it all.  Their portal, which used to be little more than an enhanced starter kit, is now looking more attractive than Sharepoint!  Now they are getting into the CMS arena!  This is a little more integrated than what I have seen for DotNetNuke but the pricing seems to be an issue for Telligent.  I don’t mean for a personal site but for a corporate site of if you want to create a product on top of the portal system.  That, in my opinion, limits the choices to DotNetNuke or Rainbow.

Microsoft CTP Madness

OK I admit it.  I am a lazy developer.  I also like that Microsoft is being more open with its Betas and development.  Having said that, CTPs are a pain in the neck!  Thank goodness for Virtual PC!
